I wake up in the morning, shower, get dressed and make coffee at home. I check the traffic report and then head off to my office. After a 35 minute commute, I arrive at my office. After checking my email, I review the progress I made yesterday and make a list of tasks I need to do today. Additionally, I check to see if any of my meetings for that day require preparation. After preparing my list of tasks for the day, I start work on them. I usually eat lunch at my desk around 12:30 in the afternoon, and then continue working until I have finished 8 hours. Sometimes, I flex my time over the course of a week. After work, I play volleyball in one of the leagues at my company. Then I get back in my car and drive home. I shower, make dinner and then eat it. I try to save about 30 – 45 minutes of my evening to read a book before going to sleep.

I have three small children and I love to spend time with them whenever I can. We love to gather up the Frisbees, footballs and kickball’s and head to the park for a day of fun. We make use of the wonderful variety of playground equipment as well. My youngest is addicted to the slide; she would slide all day if she could. Oftentimes, we will also spend the time to make up sandwiches and pack up drinks and snacks. The parks usually have picnic tables available for everyone to enjoy a nice lunch break without having to stop the fun. It’s a wonderful way to spend the day.

Dinner last evening was nothing to write home to mother about. We started off with Campbell’s Condensed Vegetable w/Beef soup, and crackers. Next came a grilled sandwich on whole grain white bread with bread and butter pickles. The drink accompanying the meal was either 2% milk or water–your choice. To accompany the sandwich we had sliced tomatoes, fresh from our own backyard garden. Yum! Yum! As an extra side there was fresh cinnamon applesauce made from wealthy apples. To top off the dinner in style, we had homemade triple chocolate bundt cake with vanilla ice cream. Quite a combination, but it did include the five food groups, I think.

Today I wore a comfy outfit from head to toe. For starters I wore white Nike shoes that had silver stripes on the sides. I wore white socks ankle cut on my feet. As for my pants I decided to wear my Aeropostle sweatpants of course it was white to I have to match. The pants had a dark black line on the sides and have the logo on the left front leg. My favorite part was my shirt which was not white actually. My shirt was a dark blue Aeropostle shirt with the logo in the center and a wild design of lines scattered throughout the shirt. Finally I wore a dark blue baseball cap just plain sideways on top of my head.
