Although the worst of the recession has passed, it’s presence and effects are definitely still here. Just as other problems that are caused by human civilization, recession is just another inevitable episode of trouble that is literally destroying many people’s lives. Recession has managed to take away jobs and opportunities, homes and houses; businesses struggles as does everyone else. Recession is simply a nightmare, and one that everyone surely wants to end as soon as possible.
I certainly hope that there will never be another recession in the world, but this is very unlikely, unless a serene economical state can be achieved.

The more days I go through in my live the better I think it could be. There is just so much things to be done, people to meet, and it’s just never ending. Today, my day is especially normal, almost boring. The weekends are boring for me, I think that I could get out more, but the more I get out, the more I should stay home and relax. That’s life, not enough of everything and always having too much of everything else. I always try to fill my days with an activity that tires me, then compensate with series of rests and naps.

Harpic is a bathroom cleaning agent. It retails at a little more than a dollar, and is the source of contention among my roommates. Whose turn it is to buy it, who uses it, who disposes of the empty bottles. This whole sorry business, began when our landlord in a fit of generosity decided to convert a spare storeroom into a spanking new bathroom. Calls for priviliges began as soon as construction began with a fierce trade off between roomies with aftershave, internet priviliges and increases bath times as incentives. The war for usage ended in a peaceful settlement, when one of the guys had his shift changed to accommodate the luxury of a bathtub. Enter the cleaning agent, not long after usage it was observed by all and sundry that somebody should clean up behind them, it seemed that an acrimonious debate was festering when somebody pushed a bottle of harpic through the grate with instructions. Its all been a dream ever since, with a pronounced lavender smell, instead of the gamey one we had before.

I have had simple home-cooked dishes for dinner for as long as I can remember. Simple, cheap, yet delicious dinners are always the best choice to be placed on the table for dinner. Most of my dinners consist of rice, assorted vegetables, red meat, fish and the likes. Recent nights, following an episode of eating takeaways, we have had KFC, McDonald and Subways for dinner, just because it was simple, not too expensive, and frees up more time to spend with family and friends. We do try to eat healthy and limit takeaways as minimal as possible, no matter how healthy they might seem.
