Whistle Wit

My two goals in life are to create a financially successful living and have a family that will learn from me and hopefully follow in my footsteps.  These are goals that I have clearly set for my future so I am yet to accomplish either of them, however they still keep going strong everyday and are always goals that I can look up too.  I believe that one I will fulfill these goals, hopefully sooner than later, but no matter the amount of time or even if I don’t complete them at all, they still provide me with the strength to fulfill my potential.

If I could relive the last five years of my life I cant say that there is too much I would do differently, however there are still a few things that I could have changed.  I definitely would have spent more time focused on education and the future rather than making the most out of the present when really I had time to do that later.  Now, I realize how important certain aspects of education are in order to have more fun and live a better life later on.  I would also change certain friendships and social aspects of my life only because I now have a better outlook on those things.

If I knew death was within 2 weeks time I would only have a few regrets.  Probably the most important of those regrets is not taking action and starting something like a business or venture I was interested in.  I feel though I am too often driven by fear, and the fear prevents me from taking a risk and doing something that I believe in.  Given that I would now only have 2 weeks to live, I would make a list of things that I always wanted to do and do as many I realistically can before I die, even if they are small things.  I would also come together with my family and reflect on all the times we spent together so that I go out in peace rather than sadness or regret.

If I could change anything about my home in its current state I would definitely refurnish and simply make it more fun.  I often feel like a lot of the furniture and decoration in my house is just there because the standards of décor say it is required.  But as I think about it more, it would make much more sense, and make my life much better, if I could just not care about what other people think and put whatever I want in my house in order to make it the best and most fun place for me to be.
