Halloween for Dogs

August 27th, 2011

What do I think about costumes for dogs? I think cheap Halloween costumes for dogs are a complete waste of time and money. The dog is just going to use it one time and it will never be used again. The dogs don’t care if you dress them up in a costume so it doesn’t matter if you don’t give it a costume. I’m sure the dog doesn’t like it when they get dressed up in a costume. So it will be very uncomfortable for the dog and it might turn angry. If you want to really buy a costume then buy one for a child or yourself. Get one for someone that will really appreciate it. Your children will remember the experience for the rest of their lives. Halloween is supposed to be about trick or treating, not dressing up your dogs. That waste time that you could spend with the people you care about.

Never-ending Cycle

August 26th, 2011

I would more than likely want to tell my friends that I am tired of feeling unloved and abandoned.  I would tell my friend that I hate when we don’t talk for weeks or when things suddenly aren’t the same. I hate how he’ll suddenly disappear and leave me starved for attention, affection, and human contact. If I did tell him all of this, though, I know exactly how it would go down. He would insist that I am over-reacting and that I’m just being paranoid. I would then end up feeling foolish for saying anything and the cycle would probably repeat itself with nothing getting resolved.

Under the Weight of Stone

August 23rd, 2011

I’ve actually never given in to peer-pressure in my entire life. I’ve never felt the need to compromise who I am for other people. To be honest, I think peer pressure is an excuse people use to justify their actions. Then again, I suppose some people can’t handle the pressure people put on others when they aren’t exactly fitting in. I personally don’t see any reason to give in to peer-pressure. If you know who you are and you’re okay with how you act, think, talk or whatever, then it shouldn’t matter what other people think. I will admit I sometimes have trouble with this, but in the end, I never fall for it because in the long run, you learn it’s better to be yourself.

International Cuisine Night on Repeat

If I could only eat three things for the rest of my life it would be burritos, orange chicken, and pizza.  My mother makes these delicious burritos. They are so amazing.  They’re just simple beef and potatoes filled inside fried tortillas. The tortillas she uses are her famous ones that everyone I know falls in love with. I think I need to call her up and ask her to make me some now. The orange chicken would have to be made by this man who actually retired. He used to work at my favorite Chinese restaurant in Dallas, Texas. No Chinese restaurant has surpassed his cooking in the 10 plus years I have eaten his food.  Lastly, pizza, that’s a given isn’t it? Pizza is everyone’s favorite dish. Well, I suppose there are people that don’t like it. My pizza would have to be topped with pepperoni, ham, and beef. Delicious.
